ARTIST STATEMENT

“The interconnectedness of artistic discipline(s) has been instrumental in the development of my art practice.  My identity as an artist is rooted in the fact that my talents are disparate and constantly evolving.  I have been promiscuous with the use of materials, medium and modes of execution.  I have avoided temptations to work in a single medium or process.  My modes of expression range from painting to opera, installations, drawing, designing, sewing and voice.

The ranges of media I use for work are used with an ultimate purpose.  I work to understand the multi-dimensionality of human existence.  My explorations reveal that we are mutable beings living in a world which is also in constant transfiguration.  It is the fluidity of our existences which is mirrored in my work.”
